Highlights
  • Hard density conformable wheel performs effective burr removal without undercutting the workpiece
  • Convolute construction keeps the wheel running smooth, producing consistent results
  • Scotch-Brite™ non-woven material resists loading and continuously supplies fresh abrasives for continuous cutting action
  • Resulting finish may negate subsequent conditioning steps
  • Minimises heat build up to reduce risk of discolouration and warping on heat sensitive substrates
  • Effective for all types of metals, composites, and glass, allowing one wheel to perform more tasks

When you need an aggressive wheel for a variety of deburring tasks and surfaces, the Scotch-Brite™ Deburring Wheel is a good place to start. This silicon carbide wheel offers a hard, 11 density rating in both medium and fine grades for light to medium edge deburring on carbon steels, stainless steel, titanium; soft metals such as aluminum, copper and brass; composites, plastics and glass.

Scotch-Brite™ Deburring Wheel
Scotch Brite™ Wheels produce great results on all types of metal, composites and glass
Durable and Consistent
The convolute, non-woven construction of the Scotch-Brite™ Deburring Wheel enables it to run smoothly and provide consistent abrasive action over flat or irregular surfaces throughout the life of the product. Its hardness and durability makes the wheel ideal for deburring stamped or laser cut parts, cleaning, or finishing after belt sanding, and reduces gouging of the base material. Depending on the application requirements, the finish left behind by the wheel may enable the operator to skip final finishing steps.

Extra Sharp Silicon Carbide
The Scotch-Brite™ Deburring Wheel contains silicon carbide abrasive grain. Silicon carbide is a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint prep and finishing. While silicon carbide breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it produces a finer finish.

The Scotch-Brite™ Advantage
Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. Combining abrasives with the fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers. Fibers in the web continually break down with use to reveal fresh mineral for exceptional consistency, superior cut performance, and extremely long service life. Scotch-Brite products may enhance productivity while reducing the need for cleaning chemicals and wire brushes. From aesthetic finishing to weld blending, deburring, and more, Scotch-Brite abrasives work fast and deliver consistent results, part after part.

Suggested applications
  • Use for a variety of deburring tasks
  • Suitable for light to medium edge deburring on carbon steels, stainless steel, titanium
  • For use on soft metals including aluminium, copper and brass, composites, plastics and glass
