3M™Accuspray™ Spray Gun System for applications requiring the use of a 1.4 mm atomizing head. The 3M™ Accuspray™ Spray Guns perform like a premium spray gun, without the premium price. It can also be used with 1.8 mm or 2.0 mm heads depending on the task at hand.
Delivers extremely consistent applications
Replaceable atomizing heads are clear so it's easy to see when the head is clean
Spraying Simplified
Designed for added benefits at every step of the paint application process, our Accuspray™ HG14 Spray Gun delivers extremely consistent application, helps improve technician productivity and minimizes cleanup. The HG14 uses a replaceable 1.4 mm atomizing head that allows for excellent atomization and a large usable pattern with very low overspray during HVLP spray application. After use the user can simply dispose of the old atomizing head and put in a new one: it's the equivalent of a new spray gun on demand, with limited cleanup and very little maintenance.
The Accuspray™ HG14 Spray Gun is available as a kit that contains 1 spray gun, 3 atomizing heads and a redesigned airflow control valve for precise control.
A Spray System That Pays Off
The atomizing heads used with the
Accuspray™ HG14 Spray Gun (PDF, 528.90 Kb) are a big part of our 3M™ Accuspray™ System for automotive collision repair. Replaceable atomizing heads are clear so it's easy to see when the head is clean, and the spray guns perform like new every time the atomizing head is replaced – the equivalent of a new spray gun, at a fraction of the cost. The benefits include reduced primer consumption, lower application time and less time for cleanup, plus a better finish which results in less sanding time. The end result: cleaner, more productive, more profitable collision repair operations.
Accuspray™ and Our PPS™ System
Along with our other Accuspray™ spray guns, the Accuspray™ HG14 Spray Gun works with our 3M™ Paint Preparation System. This system for mixing and spraying solvent-based and waterborne materials eliminates the need for traditional mixing cups and paint strainers. Instead, paint and other materials are mixed and sprayed out of the same PPS™ liner with a lid and built-in filter. This system lets painters mix less paint, drastically reduce their solvent use, and spend less time cleaning spray guns and cups. All told, it can improve operator efficiency by as much as 15%.
With PPS™, paint can be mixed and sprayed out of the same 3M™ PPS™ cup and liner set. It's a cleaner, faster system that's safe from outside contamination. Another key advantage of this closed system is that it enables the user's spray gun to function at any angle, even upside down. That means less time spent repositioning. The liner, lid and built-in filter are all disposable, further reducing cleanup time.
