3M™ Body Gard Flat Coating is a stone chip coating in an aerosol format with a flat finish.
The 3M™ Body Gard Flat Coating reproduces the flat finish that is very popular. It provides excellent stone-chip resistance and is quick to dry. The coating becomes tack free in 10-15 minutes. It can be painted with air drying and low bake paints after two hours drying at normal temperatures. To provide a good adhesion of any waterbased paints, the application of a primer is recommended. If you leave the product overnight before overcoating it, the coating should be scuffed with Scotch Brite ultrafine grey.
