The antimicrobial effect of this dressing is being supported by a broad portfolio of evidence1,2 (in-vitro): the dressing reduces the signs and symptoms of infection1 even in complex wounds accompanied by malodour and over-granulation. Silver wound contact dressing comprising of two non-adherent polyethelene mesh and polyester core. All three layers are coated with AG OXYSALTS™ Technology – this technology was designed to lose 3 electrons (Ag3) to make it up to 6 times more powerful3 at killing bacteria than Ag+1 and/ or Ag+2, content of other marketed silver dressings.
